Scott Gore and Christina Wernick have been recognized as Notable Leaders in Employment and Labor Law in 2023 by Crain’s Chicago Business.
Scott Gore concentrates his practice in counseling and transactional matters as well as private and public sector employment litigation. He is also responsible for training newer lawyers on NLRA matters, serving as a valuable mentor to associates and fellow partners to grow their labor practices.
Scott is a longtime supporter of the American Bar Association and the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans. He has spoken at National Labor Relations Board and American Conference Institute events and participated in Chicago Kent Law School’s “Hot Topics in Labor Law” panel.
Christina Wernick is one of the firm’s go-to resources for companies needing representation throughout the collective bargaining and union organization processes. Her niche centers on issues arising from construction union agreements. She has a deep reserve of construction union knowledge and a strong ERISA litigation background.
Christina is a member of the Labor and Employment Law Council of the Associated General Contractors of America. She is also involved with the Chicagoland Associated General Contractors, the Mechanical Contractors Association of America, the Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors Association and provides training to members of the Federation of Women Contractors.
