Mark Bennett to Share Employment Law Insights at the Court Administration Leadership Academy for the Administrative Office of the Illinois Courts
Laner Muchin Partner Mark Bennett will discuss key Illinois labor and employment law updates at the Court Administration Leadership Academy for the Administrative Office of the Illinois Courts on March 23.
Mark’s presentation, titled “New Developments and Potential Changes in Federal and State of Illinois Labor and Employment Laws,” will highlight recent legislative developments concerning human resources and employee management topics applicable to administrative leaders and staff of the Illinois Court system, including court managers for district courts, appellate courts and the Illinois Supreme Court.
His session will take place from 10:30 am to noon at the Will County Courthouse in Joliet, IL.
Mark centers his practice on counseling and transactional matters, labor management relations and private and public sector employment litigation. He has thorough experience negotiating collective bargaining agreements and representing employers in cases before the National Labor Relations Board, the Illinois Labor Relations Board, the Illinois Educational Labor Relations Board, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Illinois Department of Human Rights.
