05.05.2021

Laner Muchin is proud to announce the addition of Christina Wernick as Of Counsel to its growing team of experienced labor and employment attorneys.

“We are thrilled to add Christina to our group,” said Managing Partner Andy Goldberg. “Christina brings a unique labor law skillset with her wealth of experience as in-house counsel and we’re excited to bring that experience to bear as we serve our clients and address their individual needs.”

Christina focuses her practice on representing unionized employers in collective bargaining, grievance proceedings, arbitration and benefit contribution litigation. She is an experienced negotiator and regularly assists clients with the resolution of grievance actions, collective bargaining agreements, project labor agreements, prevailing wage issues, jurisdictional disputes, and key man agreements. Christina is experienced in advancing and defending claims in Federal and State Court, before Joint Grievance Boards, and before the National Labor Relations Board. In addition, Christina regularly counsels employers on day-to-day labor-management issues and employee benefit contribution compliance and conducts training for clients on a variety of labor topics.

Prior to joining Laner Muchin, Christina represented a prominent Chicagoland construction union and its multi-employer fringe benefit funds. In her role as in-house counsel, she advised on a range of labor and employment matters specific to the construction industry.
