Jill O’Brien Honored on Top 50 Women List in Illinois by Super Lawyers
Laner Muchin Partner Jill O’Brien earned repeat honors on the Top 50 Women list in Illinois for the year 2022 by Super Lawyers.
Jill centers her practice on representing both private and public sector employers on a range of employment and labor relations issues, including interest arbitration hearings, mediation, grievance handling and collective bargaining negotiations. She counsels employers and provides management training programs on labor, employment and human resource issues such as terminations, disciplinary issues and wage issues.
In addition, Jill defends employers in employment disputes and labor proceedings in court and before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Illinois Department of Human Rights and the National Labor Relations.
The Top 50 Women list acknowledges preeminent attorneys who perform exceptionally well above and beyond the statewide Super Lawyers accolade, based on their comprehensive research findings and practice area-specific “blue ribbon review” process for their respective regions.
This marks Jill’s fourth year being selected in the Top 50 Women Lawyers list. Among other achievements, she serves as a member of the ISBA’s Women and the Law Committee, an Executive Committee member of the Chicago Bar Association’s Alliance for Women and as a “Courtwatcher” to the Chicago Metropolitan Battered Women’s Network.
