Chicago, IL – Laner Muchin attorney Wesley H. Covert participated on a panel for a workshop entitled, “Considerations in Structuring Your Health Savings Account Investment Menu” at the Bank of America Retirement and Benefit Plan Services 2019 Client Conference on Tuesday, April 30, 2019 in Chicago, Illinois.  

Covert discussed the topic of U.S. Department of Labor regulation of Health Savings Account investments and what it means for the ability to mirror a 401(k) menu and avoid triggering the necessity to comply with ERISA.  Additionally, Covert discussed the impact to the plan sponsor after being subject to ERISA
