Matthew P. Kellam Provided a Legal Update at the Illinois Association of Chiefs of Police's Annual Conference

Chicago, IL – Laner Muchin attorney Matthew P. Kellam recently presented at the 2019 Annual Training Conference hosted by the Illinois Association of Chiefs of Police on April 24-26, 2019 in Oak Brook, Illinois.

Kellam participated in an interactive session offering information on the most recent legal issues facing law enforcement. This included labor issues, use of force, fitness for duty, etc. 

Kellam has an extensive employment litigation practice, defending lawsuits in federal and state courts, representing both private and public sector clients.  He litigates cases involving discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claims, FMLA and ADA claims, Section 1983 and United States Constitutional claims, Illinois Whistleblower Act and common law retaliatory discharge claims, and common law claims, such as defamation, tortious interference with contract and civil conspiracy claims.
