Unique Fee Structure: Designed to be realistic and cost-effective
Our policy on fees can be summed up simply: employee relations is a cost-sensitive area and that sensitivity should also apply to legal fees. We are sensitive to the cost concerns of the businesses and institutions we represent; therefore, while we are often engaged on an hourly fee basis, a substantial number of our clients choose, instead, to engage us on a unique, full-service, fixed annual fee basis. This fee typically covers virtually all labor and employment services. the exceptions being such matters as litigation and employee benefit plan matters, due to the difficulty of forecasting such costs over an extended period of time. However, fixed project fees (and other alternative approaches) are available for employee benefit matters (and in some litigation and business immigration matters).
The full-service annual fee encourages frequent communication and the implementation of cost-effective preventive measures. It also enables clients to more effectively budget their labor relations costs. Services required by the client over a long period of time to resolve problems are more readily sought if the client and its management team realize they can call for help as often as necessary without any increase in the agreed-upon fee.
